Dr. Richard Silver is a Cum Laude graduate of Pennsylvania State University, and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Silver specializes in eye care and contact lenses for children and adults, including prosthetic lenses for those who have lost or damaged their eyes. Dr. Silver has written numerous articles on eye care and contact lenses and is a clinical investigator for several contact lens companies. He serves as an expert witness for medical-legal issues related to contact lens designs. He is a consultant to the major film studios and production companies. Dr. Stacey Sumner earned her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). She received her doctorate degree in Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley. She did her clinical externship at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center and at the Moffet Field Naval Air Station. Dr. Sumner specializes in the family practice of optometry with emphasis on contact lenses. She joined the Greenspoon-Silver partnership in 1995. Dr. Morton Greenspoon is a third generation optometrist. His father was the first optometrist to fit contact lenses in California. Dr. Greenspoon received his undergraduate training at The University of Southern California, and his doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry. He was a contact lens consultant to the major film studios, and has been responsible for many of the creative eye effects seen on the big and small screen. He has received Oscar and Emmy nominations for his work. He has also received a Diplomat in Cornea and Contact lenses from the American Academy of Optometry, and the Year 2000 Contact Lens Achievement Award. email@example.com
Linda Barron, our Office Manager and SFX Coordinator, has been a part of PVA staff since 1994. Upon learning the medical side of the practice, she was also introduced to the world of special effect contact lenses and was soon trained as a contact lens technician, which came naturally since she was a long-term lens wearer herself. As a graduate of CSUN in Health Science, she has been an essential part of the practice and facilitates it smooth day to day operations.
